Medals
A medal is a generally circular metal object, often made of precious metals and possibly enamels.
Originally, it designated small change, coming from the Latin medalia which designated half a penny, which corresponded in France to the mesh.
Currency has taken in the course of history the most diverse forms: beef, salt, mother-of-pearl, amber, metal, paper, shells, etc., to mainly be today either dematerialized or more commonly presented in the form of round coins ( medals) or tickets to special papers.
We offer a unique collection of tourist medals rich in our regional heritage values.
